Certified Data Center Specialist

This 3-day course provides further specialization on the in the CDCP course introduced topics. It will provide insight and in-depth expertise enabling attendees to verify offers made by suppliers and to enable them to do a thorough review of the proposed design or a review of their existing data center. This will ensure that the right selections are made and that the data center equipment is installed correctly. CDCS is a must have certification for the professional data center managers and personnel.

Note: Participants must have a valid CDCP certificate before being able to apply for the CDCS course

Intended Audience:
Participants who have direct responsibilities for Data Centre's operations and maintenance and requires a thorough understanding of the key components and aspects of mission critical Data Centre facilities at a Specialist level.  This would include such persons as: Data Centre Operations Managers, Data Centre Designers, Facilities Managers, IT Service Delivery Managers, IT Technical Marketing & Technical Sales Reps, IT Department Managers, etc.

Exam:
Attendees will take a 1-hour Certified Data Center Specialist exam. The exam is a 60 questions, closed book, multiple choice exam. The passing mark is 50 out of 60. Attendees passing the exam will be awarded the internationally accredited and recognized “Certified Data Center Professional” certificate (CDCS).  The CDCS certificate is valid for 3 years, after which 1-day refresher and a 1-hour exam will be required to maintain the CDCP certification standing.
